J. MARZ DESIGNS

J. Marz Designs was created by a small-town boy with big fashion dreams! I always had an appreciation for fashion magazines and all the talent held within them, loved watching behind the scenes performances of music artists creating HUGE productions. Shortly after experiencing a loss that would forever change my life, I moved to Austin, Texas and as they say, “the rest is history.”

To pursue my dreams of being a designer/stylist, I first had to learn how to sew. I started by removing the stitching of my own clothes and sewing them back together. From there I graduated to making my own patterns and exploring new ways to bring my ideas to life.

LORENZA

Karina Martinez is the founder and designer of Lorenza; an inclusive fashion brand rooted in proportion-focused design and Mexican heritage. As a petite woman, Karina understands the challenges many women face when shopping for well-fitting, stylish clothing — from resorting to children’s sections to altering nearly every garment. Her mission is to create designs that honor every woman’s proportions, starting with the community she knows best.

Her journey began in childhood, designing wedding gowns for Barbie and GI Joe dolls with her cousins — a playful memory that sparked a lifelong passion. That dream evolved into reality when she was selected to showcase her work at Austin Fashion Week in both Fall 2023 and Spring 2024. In 2024, Karina was chosen for ACC Fashion Incubator Cohort 5, completing the intensive one-year program focused on brand development, technical innovation, and market strategy. The experience sharpened her vision for Lorenza and deepened her commitment to empowering women through fashion.

A bold voice in Austin’s slow-fashion scene, Ketan Wyatt is the visionary creator behind Sticky Gold, a dynamic and unapologetic sustainable fashion label rooted in street and club wear. Based in ATX, Ketan channels fierce creativity into pieces that celebrate identity and community. Sticky Gold emerged from Ketan’s early work designing for drag performers-a foundational space that shaped the brand’s ethos: clothing as both self-expression and empowerment. His designs reflect the queer community’s vibrancy, fluidity, and authenticity, transforming garments into statements of pride and visibility. Committed to ethical craftsmanship, Sticky Gold embraces sustainability-from eco-conscious materials to thoughtful production practices. Ketan sees fashion not just as aesthetics, but as activism-inviting wearers to join a movement that values representation, inclusivity, and intention.
