Aporia Designs was created in 2021 after Jasmine Levario graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in apparel design and manufacturing. Aporia Designs is inspired by the ongoing development of technology in today’s world. As a brand it is important for Aporia to really push the edge of streetwear today.

Hannah Hannah is an Austin based artist and fashion designer: She is entirely self-taught and enjoys expressing herself joyfully through her work. Using spray paint and acrylic, Hannah creates lovely, colorful and bold abstract and revolutionary art. She is radical and unafraid to be herself. Hannah was recently featured as a solo exhibitor at the Austin Downtown Library as well as a designer during the most recent Austin Fashion Week. Hannah looks forward to many more exciting and fruitful experiences collaborating with others in the community!

I’m a fashion designer based out of Austin, Texas. I grew up in Aurora, IL and have always had a passion for art, film, music and fashion. When I was 16, I started designing clothes for fun on photoshop and my friends really liked them. 2 years ago I started a brand called ‘BAD* Environment Club’ with my good friend, and began designing for it. To date we have launched and sold multiple products, and are currently designing our third season. I also am the creative designer and direct photo shoots.

BMatchy: Driven by Passion, Inspired by Purpose

I’m Bhawna Bangari, founder of BMatchy, an Austin-based clothing label launched in August 2024. After 17 years in IT Project Management, I pursued my lifelong passion for fashion at 40. BMatchy is more than a brand—it’s a platform celebrating style, tradition, and community impact.

About BMatchy: BMatchy offers a diverse range of Indian and non-Indian clothing and jewelry for women, men, and children. Our collections blend tradition and modernity, using high-quality fabrics like silk, cotton, crepe, and georgette. We aim to make a positive impact through fashion, supporting initiatives that benefit children and communities.

Journey Highlights:

1. Celebrating India’s Heritage: We promote the richness of Indian clothing through intricately designed bridal lehengas, chaniya cholis, sherwanis, and more, honoring cultural traditions with elegance.
2. Supporting Beautifully Loved: Our first fashion show supported Beautifully Loved, an organization aiding children with cancer. It was a chance to showcase our designs while connecting with these courageous kids.

3. Austin’s 1st South Asian Wedding Expo & Fashion Show: In November 2024, I organized Austin’s first South Asian Wedding Expo and Fashion Show. This vibrant event featured over 30 vendors, 120 models, and performers, celebrating Indian culture and raising funds for Dell Children’s Hospital. 100% of ticket proceeds supported their mission.

4. Runway 7 at New York Fashion Week: I’m excited to represent BMatchy in the Made in India segment at Runway 7 during New York Fashion Week on February 6th, 2025. This prestigious event celebrates global fashion, and I’m honored to showcase a collection that highlights India’s rich heritage and craftsmanship.

5. Additionally, BMatchy was featured on KXAN News – Studio 512 this January 2025, where we showcased Indian clothing and discussed about culture.

Justice is a self-taught drag designer drawn to high glam with a touch of androgyny. Their journey began out of necessity—off-the-rack pieces were either too expensive or didn’t fit quite right. Inspired by the stunning looks seen on fellow performers, in magazines, and across Instagram, they started creating their own unique designs. During the pandemic, financial pressures led them to take on commissions, refining their skills under pressure. Career highlights include recreating an iconic Dolly Parton look for Bridgett Bandit, which was worn at the DNC convention, and showcasing their own design during a performance at ACL. Today, Justice primarily designs for themselves, with occasional commissions for select clients.

Nevena Bentz is an Austin-based visual artist who launched her sculptural jewelry collection and first series of mixed media artworks at Boston Fashion Week in 2014. Since then, she has launched a line of fine jewelry based on her own designs while continuing to mature as a visual artist. Fashion was the spark for her original series of mixed media portraits, but nature is the ultimate source of inspiration, as seen in her most recent work.
Nevena’s Austin Fashion Week 2025 designs reveal the intersection of art and fashion and their mutual influence. They have been executed in Nevena Bentz’ art studio from recycled textiles and incorporate elements of her original mixed media artworks. Nevena is committed to raising awareness about the ecological challenges we face. She believes the art and fashion industries are well-positioned to illustrate how creativity will be a key factor in arriving at a more sustainable future. All designs shown during Austin Fashion Week will be upcycled and reincorporated into Nevena’s mixed media artwork to further extend their lifespan.
Nevena is represented by galleries nationally and internationally and her work has been featured in numerous publications, including the Parisian fashion magazine, Faust.

Origin Of Oceans was inspired by a life of travel, adventure, and saying “YES”. Of fearlessly embracing the “Out of Office” auto-response subject line and channeling that spirit in daily life. This launch really is a culmination of the experiences the designer behind the brand – Kathleen Bily – collected in her time on this beautiful planet. It’s a celebration of the amazing people, places, and memories that have graced the designer’s life and left an impact. And with every sketch, every fabric selection, every stitch, she is infusing all of that energy into each piece. Origin Of Oceans essentially means the origin of life. Which the designer chose to embrace and celebrate every day. The mission in the brands’ swim line is not only to create beautiful swimwear that is of the highest quality and a reliable source for amazing fit and style, but is to create awareness and support the efforts to clean our oceans and beaches to help save, heal, and preserve the life that gives us life.

Swinney Designs was founded in 2018 by Sadie Swinney at the age of 10. Since then, it has grown to be a fully individual operation and a passion project for her as she has grown. Sadie is a senior in high school and will be going off the college next year, making this likely her last fashion week showing after almost 10 years. This spring Sadie will show a very special collection including her brand new pieces recently debuted at the McCallum High School Fashion Show in March.
